Career highlights

Michael Gravel is the Founder and Managing Partner of iMerge Advisors. Since 2000, he has led more than 100 successful sell-side transactions for software and technology-enabled businesses, with deep expertise in AI, SaaS, and data-driven platforms. Michael specializes in representing founder-led companies and guiding CEOs and founders through valuation, strategic positioning, and full-cycle M&A execution.

His advisory work has resulted in outcomes with strategic acquirers such as Zillow Group (NASDAQ: Z), Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO), Consensus Cloud Solutions (NASDAQ: CCSI), international buyers, and private equity platforms. Michael is known for his hands-on approach, rigorous preparation process, and ability to drive competitive processes that maximize shareholder value.

Beyond the deal table

When he’s not advising founders, Michael can often be found outdoors with his three daughters. Together, they’ve taken their Airstream across the United States and Canada, visiting nearly every major national park and exploring wilderness areas few families ever experience.

Michael also enjoys action-sports photography, cooking, and studying financial markets — an avid student of market structure, macro forces, and behavioral dynamics. He is involved in several charitable initiatives supporting youth programs, education, and animal welfare.

Expertise

As Managing Director at iMerge Advisors, Todd brings over 25 years of experience in software, private equity, negotiation, and international strategy. Before joining iMerge, Todd served as Senior International Sales and Operations Executive at Datastream Systems, where he opened offices in London, Sydney, and Monterrey and built partnerships with 18 global distributors. Todd also spent five years in Europe and Asia as Datastream completed multiple international acquisitions funded through its IPO and secondary offering.

Over the course of his career, Todd has provided funding for seven start-up ventures and advised an investment fund from initial concept through the acquisition of five companies. Todd has executed 18 sell-side transactions for a Morgan Stanley portfolio, along with numerous additional transactions at iMerge.
